My chihuahua is roughly 1.5 years old, and has just recently had her first heat. One of the other family dogs was being watched at our house over a vacation period. Although, I thought nothing of the matter considering the other dog was a west highland ter. -I didnt think size wise anything would work. Now about a week or two after the bleeding stopped, her vagina is still more swollen then I would like to see and her teets are enlarged with hard nipples. Her temparment has changed as well. She is in so much more need of my partners attn. Is she pregnant? Or is this simply her maturation period?
