Hello, my 5yr old female BEAGLE started having a problem bending her neck down, she yelps like it is sore when trying to pick a toy or food from the floor,she seems to have no problem moving her head from either side or looking up,it just seems to hbother her when she tries to bend it to far down.This happened suddenly she started having the trouble this past wednesday 9-8-04.I took her to my local vet on 9-9-04,at the time i did not know exactly where to pinpoint the pain but after observing her it is in her neck area i think.They gave her a check up but no x-ray and they told me it maqy be a little arthritis.They gave me 50 mg RIMADYL and said give her 2x a day for seven days ,I look up RIMADYL on the net and saw bad things about the drug is it safe?And do you have any thoughts about what is wrong with her?Thanks
