What could be causing my nine year old rotti/lab to bleed from his nose alot,plus he is making loud gasping noises plus he sounds similar to someone sucking from a straw.i took him to the vet &he put him on two standard antibiotics(one for 5 days,one for 10}every twelve hours .the vet said that he has a throat infection,well his meds are gone & he doesnt seem to improved a bit he doesnt sound or look any better,also the vet said he had an allergy on his lower back,shouldnt he had given me something for the allergy? could there be something else wrong that the vet missed?he has always been healthy,in fact the vet said other than his throat,he is healthy.
