My 3 year old Daschund stopped eating 4 days ago, PLEASE HELP

Sent to Pet Experts April 13 11:45 PM

I have a 3 year old male Daschund that stopped eating 4 days ago now. He still drinks water (more then I notice him drinking before he got sick) and I can now get him to keep beef baby food down if I dilute it with warm water(this after giving him his prescription of metoclopramide and carafate for a day). Other then that he just looks at his food dish like he wants to eat and walks away. He looks at his water dish and hesitates but he still drinks it. Other symptoms include: frequent stretching of his hind legs, darkened skin around his penis on his abdomen, sounds coming from his tummy that sound like a jet engine and girgling, vomiting clear with white foam started about 3 weeks ago more recently it has been brown liquid (though he did not vomit today after starting meds), shakes or shivers a lot, sucks his abdomen in (like he is in pain), whimpers mostly at night. He stills gets up to go outside, still perks up to go for a ride, wags his tail when he sees familiar faces that care about him.

Our vet has no clue what is wrong with him. She has done full blood work with only a liver elevation that may have been to a muscle relaxer shot that she had given him the day before when she thought all of this was from a back injury, she has done Xrays, jaw exam.

I was wondering if anyone has any idea what to have my vet check for. Perhaps Cushings or diabetes I was told to have the vet check. Anything else? I just feel helpless, I don't know what to do for him.
