My 6 year old chihuahua is drooling after he ran off of the deck. I hear him make a yep. If I had to guess, I would think that he had bumped his head on something. He was acting strange for about a couple of minutes and than the drooling started. Should I call my vet and make an appointment? Please help me. I also checked his teeth and none seem to be loose.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Check inside his mouth and see if he broke a tooth or cut himself in his mouth area.
If he might have grabbed a bee he could have been stung.
If the drooling seems excessive you can try rinsing his mouth out with a sports bottle filled with water but if that doesn't help or he has a broken tooth you may want to see your vet.
Hope this helps you!
