Hi there, my four month old boston terrier is ...

Sent to Pet Experts March 30, 2006 5:56 p.m.

Hi there, my four month old boston terrier is experiencing some bowel problems that started yesterday morning. She started having blood in a very loose stool accompanied by what looks like mucus/placenta type stuff. She isn't acting any differently, and I have given her half water and half milk to ensure she drinks to be properly hydrated; her appetitie is fine. Should I take her to a vet immediately or should I wait until her 3rd puppy plan visit on Saturday, (in two days?) Thanks for your help.
sincerely, concerned mommy in florida
