i have two puppys a 3 month old mini dachsaund and a 6 month old toy fox terrier. about a week or two ago i noticed that my TFT "Kiki" started limping and holding her back leg up but it wasnt really slowing her down at all so i figured she pulled a muscle or somethin. then after about a week i noticed it starting to hurt her so i took her to the vet and they took x-rays and it showed that one of her hips was slightly out of the socket/joint ( i am not sure if what i am saying is right terms but i am trying) he said that he thinks that she could have broken a ligament and so he put her on a liquid asprin and he told me to keep her from running and jumping and that is almost impossible and i was wondering if a splint would help? and we were wanting to breed her is this something that would bother her to breed her or would it be something that the babys could get? and what is a treatment so thst she wont be affected when she gets older? i am jsut not sure if i fully understand what kikis problem is. is it displasia?
