Hi, I have a 7 year old maltese and she often licks her lips. When I brought her to her vet he suggested that maybe her teeth hurt her and she should have her teeth cleaned. Is this a true fact? I would rather her not have to be put out. She is only 6 lbs and I do not feel comfortable.
