(Not a Pet Question?)

Hello, My chocolate Lab who does not get table scrapes,
Sent to Pet Experts February 25 01:51 PM

Hello,
My chocolate Lab who does not get table scrapes, somehow helped himself to the "corn on the cob"-when caught it was too late. Now he has symtoms of dry heaves and constipation-should I wait and see if it works itself out? It's been about a day and half since the incident occured.

Sincerely,
Terianne

No it should have passed through by now if it was going to do so on its own.
Its time to see the vet as corn cobs can cause intestinal obstruction which would trigger the symptoms you are seeing.
A vet exam today is your best bet as your dog may need surgery to survive his adventuresome eating.
Hope this helps you! and good luck with him!
