Shoulder wound through skin. Can see muscle tissue. about 1/3 of a dime size. Tx'ed with water, hair cut around hole, surface W/ peroxide about not interior wound and then triple anti-biotic. Bled tomuch and flushed anti-bioltic away so left it alone for 32 hours. Dog spent 8 hours indoors, then out to dog house. Freezing of wound by weather seemed to stop bleeding. Issue of hole expanding through more washing or hair cutting, so though I 'd wait for it to clot some before adding more ointment which I'm about to do. Did call a vet who said these wounds usually take care of itself without loss or death. Lots of old blood stain on coat. Worried if I cut or shave more hair that a frost bite area will be made. Also worried hair and smelly dog stuff?! will enter wound the way it is now. Seems better out in general attitude and appearence. Was shocking after cleaning for an hour yesterday.

Any extra ideas or suggestions?
