i have a 9lb rat terrier that ate advil, and got very sick, she just went thru 3 days of interviines treatment. She was sent home without further meds. Is there something I should give her, like Vitimen K1? and in what dose?

She really doesn't need anything else. If the vet wanted her to be on anything, he would have surely send her home with some. It sounds like you were able to catch it quickly and the vet flushed the kidneys with IV fluids while she was there.

I would not be looking for any home remedies. The only thing that I would do at home is keep her fluids up by using plain pedialyte to keep those kidneys moving.

only 1 more question, how much pedialyte, and where do i get it. do i mix it with anything? for how many days?

You can get plain pedialyte at any drug store or walmart. It's with the baby medication.

You just give it to him straight. Or you can freeze it into ice cubes. Many pets like it a lot when presented this way.

I would just use it for the next few days.
