To Christina: thank you again for all your help. I took Bubba to the vet, and he said at first he wasn't quite sure what it was, but he was almost 100% sure that it was a tumor. He stated hamsters don't live more than 2 yrs, and Bubba is almost that age. That they are pretty much little tumor factorys. he said usually with hamsters you find that they just die in their cages. he said if bubba stops eating, and you notice he is just not doing anything, to bring him in and he would put him to sleep for me. But since he is still getting around, eating, etc.. he wouldn't yet. (i didn't want to yet!) As long as he isn't in pain, I'lljust let him go on. That doctor squeezed and pushed and i thought if ever Bubba would bite someone (he never has) that would be the time. But he was a trouper and let him prod and probe him. He is a little character. I never thought i'd get so attached to such a little guy. I wish he could run, but he sleeps more than ever. At 5 am i hear him up gathering his seeds into his pouches to get into bed. This vet didnt' even charge me. I was very impressed. Most would have and I was very willing to do so.
Well, take care and thank you so much
