I have a 12 lb 2 yr old female chihuauh/pekinese mix..she ...

I have a 12 lb 2 yr old female chihuauh/pekinese mix..she was real restless all night (didnt sleep) which is highly unusual for her..she has had a sensitive stomach w/ vomitting in past..has been treated for that w/ success..no vomitting this time..but we can see her shaking at times..no bowel movement today..she is active today..not her wholeself..but close..I am guessing something I gave her yesterday.(scrambled eggs from a sandwich I ordered and some licks of coffee from my latte...didnt settle right.my vet is full today and deosnt seem like emergency, but is there anything I can give her for stomach..or should I...I ve heard like 1/2 tagamet sometimes works ?

Pepcid is probably a better choice. The typical dose administered is 0.25 to 0.5 mg per pound (0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg) every 12 to 24 hours.

I would also switch her over to a bland diet of only boiled chicken and white rice to sooth the stomach. This sits much easier than dog food.

Try to avoid lattes in the future!
