i have red sliders they became slower and i took them to vet who said that they should hibernate however do they need water to go to the bath room because the male crys with a whine till he can get wet and use bathroom she has stuff liqid coing from her mouth yet she still wont eat they wake up either everyday or every two days i belive in search of water primarily they were in water but because they need air they would sleep under water till they needed to come up for air witch kept them from a deep sleep
