We just got our 5yr. old Rott/Shepard mix from the pound 1.5 weeks ago and had her checked over with the vet and she was fine. She seems to have a runny nose with cream to brown fluid coming from the nose in a drip and her ears are hot, seems to be panting more late at night and I have been trying to take her out more to cool her off. We are new parents and are very worried. We plan on calling our vet first thing in the morning, but was wondering if there was anything we could do now. I didn't know if it would hurt to give her part of an asprin or if I could get your best advice. Thanks!

Optional Information:
Age: 5; Female; Breed: dog/ Rott-Shepard mix
