Can I give my 45 lb basset nyquil for her cough ? I am taking her to the vet tomorrow but she needs some relief asap - thanks

No, its too strong, my vet says Robitussin DM is okay to use, give her 2 teaspoons. That should calm the cough and if you have a humidifier, put it the room she's in.
