My friend just came and dropped off a 6 week old baby and he looks to be in respiratory distress, hearts beating fast and gums are blue. He's breathing real fast. Not throwing up or no diareah.

She's called all kind of vets but of course no one's open, and she doesn't have the $$ to go to the emergency vet. (Neither do I). Anyone know what might be the problem?

She wants me take it, but I already have enough dogs. I told her I'd keep it here to try to nurse it. So far, I've given it amoxycyllin, and corn syrup with goats milk (got that off a vet site). Any ideas would be appreciated.
