I recently adopted a 9 month old pure bred Saint Bernard...we are working on housebreaking her, but she drinks a lot of water....like 4-5 bowls a day and always seems like she is panting...breathing really fast. How much water does she actually need? I have not taken her to a vet as of yet (we have only had her 4 days) I am going to guess she weights in around 90-100lbs. And do larger dogs like this tend to breathe faster? Our Bullmastiff breaths what I would call normal...she is 7 years old.
