My boston terrier is ten months old and about three times in the past month she has had ten second heaving fits. I keep plenty of water for her and she is always drinking it, so I don't believe it has anything to do with a dry throat. The only other explaination I can think of is that I find her swallowing the stuffing from inside her stuffed toys. It appears in her stool often along with hair.

After her fits she is confused and a little shaky. Her nose is wet, and everything else is completely normal. Can you help me explain this?
