What causes nausea and bloody diarrhea in a Miniature Schnauzer? Simon is two, very bright and active. Loves to run and play and very affectionate with all of us. We have had other schnauzers with pancreatitis. Two have died but only in old age. We are concerned that he has eaten something in the yard or may have been poisoned. We live in a rural area and will not be possible to get to a vet until Monday. He is lethargic, does not seem to have a fever, won't eat but does take a little water. He is a house dog and is only outdoors in our fenced back yard unless we walk him.
