I have an 4 year female austrillan shepperd, she had a blatter infection 6 weeks ago. Our vet wants to test her. He states her PH was high. In the last 4 days she is drinking more than normal her back legs appear to be sore and she not eating her treats as of this morning. She loves food never turns away from it. What are the symtoms for kidney failure? I'm in a major panic!

Optional Information:
Age: 4; Female; Breed: Austrillan Shepperd

Already Tried:
Antibotics for blatter infection she seem ok until about 4 days ago.

In the begining stages increased water consumption with obviously more urination. More advanced signs are bad breath, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarreah, and depression. She may still have the infection as it is always possible that the antibiotics did not clear up the problem. I would definately have the vet recheck.

Thank you! She did vomit this morning (small)amount. I just had her groomed yesterday, I don't know if it's contributing to her appearing to be very sore in her back legs? And lack of appetite? Our vet will not be in until Monday. How urgent is it that I get her in today with someone who is not familar with her case?
