Our rottweiler of 7 years has developed a insatiable thirst ...

Sent to Pet Experts February 02, 2006 7:09 p.m.

Our rottweiler of 7 years has developed a insatiable thirst and urinating problem. the local vet has diagnosed him with cushings. He also prescribed Lysodren at 2000 mg per day. The dog has been on this medication for 1 week with very little results. The Vet calls every day to check on the dog. He also stated that there may be a tumor in the adrenal gland. This he said will require diag and surgery to remove. My only problem with this is that the dog appears normal other than his frequent thirst and urination. What do you think. Thanks Jeff D.
