Reply to Dr Andrea's Post: Yes the vet believes its allergies and has ruled out any heart prolbems. We have her on two "HEEL" products: one called "Imflammaion" and one called "Allergy" at one/half tablet twice a day. They have helped but she still has congestion. R

Reply to Dr Andrea's Post: The vet, along with myself, believe she has a collapsing tracheal, however when this happens her symptions are very obvious and easy to see. This, so far , has not explained the congestion she has.

It is not usual for dogs to show allergies through the respiratory tract, mostly it manifests in the skin. However direct irritation can cause problems. The collapsing trachea may impede clearance of any irritants causing some congestion.
There are other homeopathic remedies in the Heel/BHI line that may be more helpful. I would maybe stick with the BHI Allergy and maybe try:
BHI Bronchitis - relief of minor bronchial irritation and wet or dry cough
BHI Cough - relief of wet or dry cough
BHI CoughFree - a cough syrup for chest congestion
Heel Lymphomyosot - to move out congestion and edema anywhere in the body
There are dozens of remedy combinations in this line alone, and sometimes it takes a trial of a few to find just the right one or two.
