Horse acting Badly

I have a horse that was sound then within minutes is raring and cant be rode. Is there something that they can eat or that can happen to make then do this

 I would have the horse checked by a vet for medical problem.  Physical pain and illness as well as dental problems can cause this type of behavior.  Perhaps even a bite of some type.
