My 10 yr old dalmation has just this week started ...

My 10 yr old dalmation has just this week started drinking more water and needing to go out mant times a day. He usually could hold his urine for a long time, but on Sunday morning we even found a wet spot in the house. This is very unusual. We have a vet appt for this Sat morning but is there anything we can do to ease his discomfort until then?
