We hired a doggy sitter for a weekend over the summer. When our dog came home she was not acting the same. She hides all the time but most of all, chews herself raw. She did have fleas, which we have gotten rid of. However, she just keeps licking, chewing and scratching her hind end. We have tried everything over the counter we can think of and it seems to get better at times then all of a sudden she'll bite herself open again. Iv'e looked on websites to try to figure out the problem. But, alot of the websites will just give the names and not show you what it looks like. I can't afford a vet right now due to a recent injury my husband suffered at work which requires surgery. I was wondering if you might know what the problem is and maybe guide me into curing the problem? Also, maybe know of an organization that will help with a vet bill during this time? I feel really bad for her. She's got to be suffering. And, I haven't a clue what else to do for her. Please help me.
