chihuahua help

Please Help, My daughter just got married, and her 8 month old chihuahua (who I'm watching)has had black tar-like loose stools and a little bloody dishcharge for the past 2 days. Her personality is still great, she has a big appetite, and her nose is wet and cold. Do you haveany ideas, what can I do or look for?
