Is this a dog or cat? What part of the paw and what type of injury (cut, deep wound, bite, etc)?

Peace,

Relist: I still need help.
She's a husky/shepard mix. It appears to be right at the ridge of the pad of her paw. It has not bled, but is inflammed and oozing clear purelence. Is this something you think I should take her to the vet for or can I treat this at home the way I would for myself?
