Our 4 year old female german shepard has been diagnosed with ERHLICHIOSIS with low white blood cells and low blood platelet count of 125.She was put on 63 doxycycline 100mg 1.5 tablets twice a day until gone. Her white blood cells are normal now but her platelet count is still low.Is there a holistic/homeopathic treament for this or something that will not desroy her immune system.I have read steriods will help, but that will be a very last resort. Also supplements are helpful to.We did to get her spaded. Thanks for any help.

Optional Information:
Age: 4; Female; Breed: german shepard

Already Tried:
doxycycline 100mg

Vitamin K can help with that. You have to be very careful not to overdose on it.

Kelp and egg yolk are sources for it.
