my 8 week old half shih-tz and toy poodle mix has a small lump on his belly. It is raised up and about the size of a penny, there is no discoloration, it doesn't itch, and it doesn't hurt him when I press on it. Could you possibly give my some insight as to what it might be.

Optional Information:
Age: <1; Male; Breed: shih-tzu toy poodle mix

Is it where his belly button is? If so, it sounds like an umbilical hernia. Have your vet take a look at it when he is in for his next set of shots. If you have him neutered they can fix it then unless your vet feels it needs repairing before then.
