I believe my German Shepard has hot spots, we have treated it with medication and hot spot shampoo, Last night she woke us up needing to go outside almost every hour. we went to work and when we came home there was fecies on the floor and in the same room urine and blood. I took her outside in the snow and she urinated and it was bloody. Help my poor baby! What is causing this and if prognazone is a steriod I hear it causes brain damage, she was really sick as a puppy with a muscle infection so her immune system is probably already compromised. I can't afford expensive tests and treatments, She has an appointment Saturday with a new vet i'm unsure about.
