Our 9 year old cairn terrier has been diagnoised with with
Hyper thyroid disease after undergoing tests for Cushings
disease. She will be starting on medication for that today.
Last week though, she lost her sight almost overnight and
is running into walls, falling in the pool, can't see anything,
etc. We are taking her to the vet this afternoon - what could
have caused the blindness and what should they test for
first to try to get her sight back? I'm freaking out - she has
never been sick in her life. Thanks.
