I have a Jack Russell female who is 3 months old. When we first got her, she had ear mites. We informed the breeder, just to let her know. Now, we found out she has Demodex, which I am told by my vet that is genetic mites. I want to know if the breeder had to have known the mother also had demodex. Also, should she be responsible in Texas for the bills? My fiance contacted her but she acted like it was our problem. Even though she told us they were in good health and we could breed her. Which now, we are told we shouldn't. What should I do?
