I have a 7 week old german short hair and this morning he had bright red blood in his running stool. I called the Vet and he advised that the puppy might have eaten something that has scratched him inside. He told me to not give the puppy any food for today and to see what happens.The puppy has been running around and acting very normal but he has done his business a few more times this morning and his stool is a little harder but still the bright red blood remains. Is this something I should get a second opinion or should I wait and see? Thanks Lena
