My pekapoo is going to turn 5 on march 18, 2006. she has never had a litter of pups. We are getting a male shitzu poo (Shihpoo) this week..we want to mate them when he is old enough. Is my pekapoo too old to have her first litter when male is old enough being that she will be into her fifth year of life without ever having had a litter?
