my rabbits left eye is runny. clear discharge. Also he is hiccuping. he still seems energetic and eating and pooping normally. what should i do. should i order ointment for the eye. what about the hiccup like movements. thank you.

For the eye, I would flush it with some warm saline twice daily and blot it dry with a clean towel very gently. If this is an allergy or a foreign object in the eye, this will help. If the discharge turns to green/yellow, you will need to see your vet right away.

We really don't worry too much about hicoughs. They have them for the same reason that people do in most cases and this means no discernable reason at all.

well you sure the discharge isn't anything to worry about. it is clear not green or anything. would ointment help. and if its the same as human hiccups i feel bad for him he had it for around 5 hours already. oh well thanks.
