I have a Golden Retriever who has been sick for 4 days vomiting. The vomiting has stopped, but she now has a stool that looks blackish green and consistency of jello.   Also, some blood appears in the stool. What should be the regime for returning her to health?

Optional Information:
Age: 11; Female; Breed: Golden Retriever

Already Tried:
I.V. with antibiotics.

She has not experienced diarrhea, but will not eat at all. Her vet placed her on bufferin about 3 weeks ago, could this possible cause some bleeding in the upper intestial tract? The vet said that he did a Comp Digestive Stool Analysis, wouldn't this test show parasites? Thanks for your help.

Just one last comment, is there anything else that I might be overlooking?

I really can't be sure. I think that we have touched on some of the basic causes of what you are seeing.

But a vet visit is definitely called for in this situation.
