My toy fox terrier has a cold and cough. What can I do for this?

I have been giving her baby aspirin but it has not seemed to help. Her weight is about 11 lbs. She is not eating as much as she usually does. And I can tell that she does not feel well. When she breaths I can hear that she is congestioned. She also has a cough.

Optional Information:
Age: 4; Female; Breed: toy fox terrier

Already Tried:
baby aspirin

It sounds like she has a respiratory infection. They are usually viral (like a cold is to us) but they can sometimes have a bacterial component and this requires antibiotics.

I would keep a close eye on this and see the vet if she stops eating, has discolored drainage, seems lethargic or runs a fever.

Otherwise, you can see it her immune system can fight it off.
