Your pup may have an infection or an eye injury and the best thing to do is to see the vet to find out what it is and which meds are needed to clear the problem up.
If you cannot get to a vet over the weekend then you can try rinsing the eye with sterile saline or mild boric acid eyedrops to see if that helps. A warm or cool compress and wiping away any secretions may also make the dog feel a bit better.
