my leopard gecko has a cyst under her tail it is very swollen and red from her picking at it. she will not eat but she will drink. she appears to be in pain. help

Age: 1; Female; Breed: leopard gecko

Already Tried:
i have tried some neosporin creme on it which our book said. i have also been feeding her with a dropper.

its been there for about a week. she does bite at it.

I would be concerned its an abscess of some sort and a vet visit would be a good idea being its bothering her. Rarely do you see reptiles chewing/biting an area unless its really causing them discomfort. She sounds like she needs antibiotic's.
