I have a German Shephard she will be eleven years old, she got hit in her back by a car the past weekend. I called a vet, and they told me to wait a couple of days to see if she has improved. My question is she has been vomitting every since Monday. I call the vet again yesterday and she told me to change her food, and just feed her rice and hamburger meat mix together. This morning I went to let her out and it was even worse, she vomited seven times. What do you think I need to do.Optional Information: Age: 11; Female; Breed: German SheppardAlready Tried: Alieve one in the morning and one in the evening with food, for the pain. Dog food Alpo and Pedigree

Aleve is very toxic to dogs. Its 10 times more toxic than ibuprofen is.
I think your dog needs to see the vet right away and if your vet won't see her you need to find one who will.
Tell the vet you have been using Aleve and get her in to be seen and get care ASAP.
Good luck with her!

I took my dog to the vet, it was her hip. The vet also informed me that Ibuprofen, Aspirin or any other kind of medicine with hurt any animal. It was not good. but thank you for answering quickly. Shelby is no longer with us.
