is it possible for a 10mo. old female yorkshire terrier (who was in heat) to get pregnant by an outdoor full grown male golden retriever?

no we didn't see them lock up but for a few days she would run up in the backyard where the golden retriever is, to play and we didnt realize she was in heat until we had to run and get her away from the male but we didnt see her lock up with him but he was trying to get at her.

It's is theoretically possible for them too tie. But it's not as common. You do need to keep in mind that carrying puppies from a dog this big would probably kill her.

You need to go ahead and see your vet to discuss your options. They can do a pregnancy test and then you can find out what you need to do.
