My 10 yr old sheepdog couldn't walk for three days and then seemed to be fine. Now she is throwing up anything she eats. I didn't feed her for 24 hrs and gave her very little water. She did not get sick so I gave her some white rice which maybe 1 hr later she threw up. Help!!

Age: 10; Female; Breed: old english sheep dog

Already Tried:
Not giving food and very little water for 24 hrs. Then making a small amount of rice which wasn't held down.

Try her with some plain pedialyte to drink. You can see if she can hold down some plain baby food chicken, just a spoonful at a time or plain chicken meat might help her.
But if she can't eat or drink I'd have the vet see her to give her fluids and see if they can determine what is wrong. Might be a parasite or infection.
