i think my boxer is sick he has lost lbs in week while we

I THINK MY BOXER IS SICK HE HAS LOST 10LBS IN 1WEEK WHILE WE WERE ON VACATION. HE IS NOT EATING OR DRINKING AND HAS HAIRLOSS AROUND HIS EARS. COULD THIS BE A SEASONAL THING OR A HORMONAL THING?

Already Tried:
WE TOOK HIM TO THE VET AND HAD A STOOL SAMPLE TESTED B/C HE HAS HAD DIARAHEA FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS ON AND OFF. THE VET SAID I SHOULD HAVE IS THYROID TESTED? WE ALOS HAVE HIM ON A BLAND DIET

I would go ahead and keep him on the bland diet. Boiled chicken and plain white rice is what I have always used and it has the best results. Feed only this. The hairloss could be from stress, allergies, or even a thyroid issue.

Your vet is right on track. I would test the thyroid and go from there. At this age, it's pretty common.
