MY 7 WEEK OLD PUP HAS A SPRAINED PAW HOW CAN i WRAP IT?
Sent to Pet Experts December 29 12:07 AM

My 10 year old child stepped on his front paw and I called the vet. The vet said since he stills playful and moving around with a limp he just sprained it, he needs it wrapped. No swelling or signs of severe pain are noticed. How much more comfort can I give him at home as far as care goes.

I would not wrap it at all. You can actually do more harm than good. For tonight, I would use warm and cold compresses to ease the pain in the leg and I would gently massage the area.

Then see your vet tomorrow if you don't see a lot of improvement.

Let me know if you still have questions.

Will it start to feel less sore in the morning?
