my year old female pitbull has been experiencing bladder

My 2 year old female Pitbull has been experiencing bladder control problems, it seems to just leak out of her. I noticed a pink tint to it this evening and am concerned it may be blood. She acts perfectly normal otherwise. The control issue came on slowly (it started about 6 months ago) with just dribbles in the beggining, but now at times it is a puddel, perhaps a 1/4 - 1/2 cup liquid at times. She has had one litter of pups. I have read that bladder control is fairly common in Pitbulls, but why? and what can I do?
