My Japanese Chin gave birth to two male pups 2 days ago,now she is biting them. one pretty bad, what can I do?

No, this is not her first litter. She is 5 years old. What do I use to clean the wound on one pups belly?

Is it in fact a wound or did she chew the umbilical (belly button) down too close?

Well, Joni, Im glad I looked.she did chew the cord too close. whew! Whats next? payment?
