i have a basset hound who ate two samll chocolate and mint

I have a Basset Hound who ate two samll chocolate and mint cookies yeasterday afternoon. He was also recently treated for hookworm. He now has diarrhea and a trace amount of blood in one bowels movement. What could this be from?
