This could be metabolic bone disease and he may need exposure to sunlight and some diet changes to save him.

Rear limb paralysis may also result from mineral (especially calcium) deficiencies that cause fibrous osteodystrophy of the spinal column. Injectable calcium is also necessary in the therapy of this problem.
You really need to see a herp vet with this little guy to see if he needs injections or oral supplements etc.
Another possible dietary issue is a disease resulting from vitamin B1 deficiency which causes paralysis of the rear legs and tail. This problem is treated with injectable B vitamins and dietary improvement.
To find a herp vet near you check here if you don't already have one lined up to use

Hope this helps you!

He may have an injured toe or broken a leg bone then. Low calcium can make them prone to bone breaks also.
You should see a herp familar vet with him in that case too.

Reply to Nancy Holmes's Post: I TOOK HIM TO THE VET. THEY TOOK X-RAYS AND THERE ARE NO BROKEN BONES. THE VET TOLD ME HE HAS ARTHRITUS IN HIS TAIL, GAVE HIM A SHOT FOR THE SWELLING, BUT IT IS HIS FRONT ARM THAT HE CAN'T WALK ON. AT FIRST I COULDN'T TELL WHAT LEG IT WAS, BUT CAN NOW SEE CLEARLY IT IS THE FRONT ONE.

HE CHARGED ME $115 AND HE GAVE ME LAXATIVE FOR A CAT WITH HAIRBALLS AND HE GAVE ME VITANIM SUPPLIMENT IN A TUBE. HE HAS 8 LITTLE ROCKS IN HIM HE ATE OUTSIDE. HE TOLD ME IF I DONT GIVE HIM THE MEAT HE WONT HAVE THE PROTENE HE NEEDS. HE SAID HE MIGHT DIE. OK ALSO HE HAS A ROPE HE CLIMBS UP TO GET TO HIS HEATING PAD IN THE CLOSET. THIS MORNING HE ALMOST FELL BECAUSE HIS NAILS WERE RECENTLY CLIPPED. COULD HE HAVE TWISTED HIS ARM MAYBE ANOTHER TIME BY MAYBE LOSING HIS FOOTING?

Yes he could easily have hurt himself slipping or in a fall.
I'd put his heating source lower so he can get at it easily with a sore leg. Or maybe as he is used to going up to the heat put a second heat source lower down for him to use if he feels iffy about climbing the rope.
The laxative is a good idea to try and get those rocks out of him.
They do not normally need any protein in their diets.

Definitely give him the the vitamins as directed.
Try for a balanced diet.
Some extra fiber might help with the removal of the rocks too. If he'll eat some sliced pumpkin or squash or sweet potato that might help.

Reply to Nancy Holmes's Post: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. YOU HAVE REALLY HELPED ME AND I FEEL CALMER NOW. I AM NOT SO AFRAID THAT HE MIGHT HAVE THE TAIL AND BACK LEG PARALISIS OR MBD.
