I adpoted a Pekingnese from the SPCA about a month ago, he seems older has a little trouble walking his hind legs seem to have alittle palsy at times. Also under his hind leg/arm pits is a rouge red skin with some type of discharge its darkish red. He had that when I got him from the shelter, I bathe him once a week with dog shampoo but I'm wondering if he might be allergic to the harness? I have the harness somewhat loose because I thought it might have been too tight. He also rubs his back on the ground alot he has some sort of growth/skin lesion on his back but he has had that for a while. The SPCA vet said he was fine.

Can you describe the palsy? Are you seeing one sided weakness? Drooling? What?
